Wednesday Was A Wash For Writing
At the last minute, Meghan came up with a pair of tickets to the Women's World Cup Soccer game against Italy and wanted to go, so I took her. I'm not a Soccer fan, but we had a great time and it was certainly worth sacrificing my evening schedule for. Back on track tonight!
Man, I can't get over how fast Barry is growing! Oh, and his hair is coming in heavier now. Really showing signs of a long haired.

So Sue Me!
Yes, I've been lame about my blogging at this site, but not about blogging in general. Of you don't believe me go to my poetry blog.
I've been very since the Maple Woods Writers Conference. Honestly! I am now doing two writers groups (I'm not talking online... these are in person) and an additional poetry only group.
Went to a poetry panel on Friday at Western Missouri State College in St. Joseph, Missouri and back to St. Joe the next night for a Robert Bly reading. He was very good, though the setup was less than desirable. Acoustics were terrible.
Last night I stumbled and bumbled over a poem I've been working to get out. Unsuccessfully I might add.
I'm getting ready to start some planning on the novel for na no month. I'd like to gave something outlined by the end of the weekend. I need to get some submissions off that I have been neglecting. One of the writing groups I am with is going to publish a anthology - I will likely have some poetry in it. This needs to be pulled together by Christmas and yes.... my Candlestick Project plan and outline + three chapters will need to be completed by Dec. 31st.
I think I need another project or two or three. Just Kidding!
