Guess I'm into F words today. Friday will do that to you.
I've had a very busy day so far, but wanted to take a moment to blog. I mean, Sunday to Friday is just too long. Admittedly I have blogged elsewhere... Particularly Stick Poet, but I can't neglect this.
I signed up for the Maple Woods Writers Conference today. I will have a 15 minute session with an agent there, so I need to get my shit together. I want them to be able to look at more than just poetry. I have plenty of that.
I'll have to say I am excited about it. I want to get myself together in the best way I know how to make the best of this. Last year I went to an open session, however I did not sign up for the whole conference. There are some break-out sessions which I wish did not overlap. Tough decisions ahead for some of those, especially since several overlapping ones look especially good.
Cathy has a bead seminar this weekend so I'll have to get Meghan to her various weekend activities. She's got a busy weekend planned.
Lunch is over... back to work!

Yesterday we went to a cousin's wedding... good two and a half hour drive (one way) so by the time all was over and done with and we were back home in bed, it was a day.
Got up this morning & did the approprate Barry things, and read an interesting piece in a very old issue of Poets & Writers. It was enough to give me some thoughts of the difference between the marketing realities of poetry vs. other literary works. Something I plan to expound upon in Stick Poet perhaps later today or tomorrow.
Have some busy work, lawn etc. to do today... but I will not let the weekend pass by without some serious writing work.
