I was exhausted last night. - Rested, but didn't. Interpretation- Did lots of nothing, but not well enough to be rested.
I'm happy with the way my Stick Poet blog is shaping up. That is a bonus for the week because I do feel I've gotten so excellent writing accomplished this week. Need to make a decision on the Maple Woods confrance today. Couldn't locate my mailing on it yesterday. I'll call today.
I like to go out with a bang! Anyway, closed out the month of August & moved on to September. Had some real success writing last night as well. Very happy with myself. [calm down ego]
Still contemplating name for Poetry Blog. It will come.
I need to select one of two of my recent works to post on my writing website for the month. I like to keep some fresh stuff coming each month now, but not everything I write.

Dry Parched Earth... and then, It Rains Insanely
Well, there have been a lot of folks praying for rain lately. We got it. Last night Ballgame was a rainout and reset as a double header this afternoon. They didn get the game in, but we didn't go. There have realy never been any significat periods without downfall. Sometimes light, sometimes quite heavy.
I've read some poetry and watched some TV today. Last night - after the rainout, we rented two movies and watched them. Sinful huh? Well, perhaps the movies wern't but nothing else that was on really had any redeaming value.
Tomorow I will want to put more focus on writing. I want to start the month off with a bang.
I picked up a copy of Poetry and the World by Robert Pinsky at the library yesterday. A book of poetry by Sam Hamill, Dumb Luck. A book of poems by Marge Piercy, The Moon Is Always Female, and lastly, Unlished - Poems by Writers' Dogs. These will keep me off the streets for a few days. Hopefully out of trouble and give me somthing fresh to blog about.
Actually, I decided today I need to start of blog just dedicated to poetry. I'm not comfortable mixing my own writing exploits with a steady course of dialogue about others poets work here. Occasionally is fine. I just think there needs to be a different outlet for it. I'm currently debating blog title. As soon as I reach a decision, I'll get started. Of course I'll post the information here.
