Wednesday Is Going To Be Crazy
It's already been a busy day. This evening should be hectic too. Meghan started back to school today. Hope her day is going well [fingers, toes and eyes crossed] - oh man... they eyes crossed give ya a headache!
No writing last night... didn't even attempt. Maybe tonight. Definately by tomorrow.
Rob Salzman has an interesting idea he blogged about. I think it is work mention and sharing with others. He wants to do a project to feature a look at the lives of people around the world on this September 11th. Photos that show what people what our lives are about. Delightful things... showing that we choose life, happiness, freedom. Not just in the U.S. but worldwide. Great idea!
Ok... enough for now. Back to work.

Ahh... another day
I woke up this morning. This is good.
Last night, I had Summit Scribes writing group. The evening was good. I did a reading of The Big Chill and got an excellent response. People had questions. Yeah, real live questions. That was cool because that never happens at the Poetry readings I do at B&N.
One person wanted to know it I started with an idea and developed the poem or if the poem evolved on its' own. Good question, because I have had work occur both ways. The answer to this one is kind of both. The idea was there, but this poem came together so very easy compared to many I write.
Another liked my usage of the normally negative "global warming" in a positive analogy. There was yet another question about the timing of the writing of the poem. Was it contemporary to world events today? Of course the answer to that is yes. I think several got focused on the opening references to the Berlin wall and it took them back quickly how I moved from point A to point B. Anyway, the responses were excellent and thought provoking.
Missed Meghan's school orientation last night for the scribes meeting. She was cool about it. I've been to one earlier, though in this instance she's starting back on Wednesday - so this is I think a little more personal than the earlier informational meeting. She had her closest friend from the old school sleeping over and they went together with her mom and big sis. This school change is going to be a big one for her.
Barry kept me up last Sunday night. I thought it was going to be more of same last night but he settled down. Took him to vets Saturday to get his booster shots. He was up to 3 lbs. big! WTG - Barry!
This site started trading on blogshares.com today. (I guess I'm feeling a little capitalistic) My bolg, The Full Course has been on it for a week or so now. It's kind of fun and it gives the blogs more exposure.
