Hopeful Begining to Weekend
I need to get a number of things done this weekend. Home househlds stuff, but definately some writing and research. I hate to resort to basketball lingo, but it's full court press time.
Ok, it's the bottom of the ninth!::grin:: - much better!
It will be the All-Star game tonight that commands my attention. I do plan a little reading. My expectations beyond that are low. I was happy with writing production the past couple of days... I have a new poem that I may simply want to fine-tune a bit. More on that next post.

Weekend
Mixture of work and play.
Yard work... some writing... Yeah! Took time out for a movie & Starbucks. Bar-B-Q'd on the deck twice... (Just quickies) no like deck party or anything.
Barry outgrew his ferret collar so I had to get him a new one & figured it was high time to introduce him to a leash. First efforts with it Saturday were hopeless. He was like a stubborn mule. Tugged and pulled on it... no way was he walking with me.
Sunday morning... Walla! He pranced the distance of six houses with me on the leash and back home. We did a little in the afternoon as well. I didn't want to tire him out. This morning he was going nowhere again.
I've decided I need to start a separate blog for Barry. A Dog Log (hee hee) or I guess Blog sounds better. I want to record stuff like one would in a baby book. Since he is truly in a developmental stage, there will be much I will want to remember.
