Yes, I know, this is a repeat. As I reach Thursday, I am not remotely close to my writing goal for the week. Banish me to the corner for penitence. Or maybe I could write a 5,000 word essay on what it means to establish goals and actually attempt to meet those objectives.
Last night I spent a good part of the evening at school event for my daughter and thereafter a trip to the library. Both admirable undertakings, though somewhat off the beaten path of my writing map. Tonight, I will put on the coffee and roll up my sleeves. We'll see what I can accomplish.
Spent some family time playing games... so I am getting started late tonight. Time to brew a little coffee and get started. Better late than never.
Did some site updating on my main writing site at: michaelwells.homestead.com Added a page of writing links. Sort of a resource page. I need to add too it tomorrow.
Interesting subject of a contest that the Writer Magazing is undertaking. Deadline is May 15 postmark. This is something I want to enter. I will need to integrate this into my planning calander. I have some other contests that I will need to assess. It is not my goal to simply enter contest after contest... but I believe picking and choosing what I am comfortable with and planning well in advance is reasonable.
I spent couple hours tonight on the Candlestick Project. Mostly administrative stuff as opposed to writing. I do hope to get 5,000 words worth of writing done this week.
