ONE THOUSAND +
This morning I hammered out 1,000 plus in a short story piece. I was very happy with it as a first draft. I believe it could stand alone or be continued. Haven't decided yet. It is not likely something I would market - but not because of it's quality. I'm very happy with it.

Houston We Have A Problem
Stuck on the pad... countdown on hold... going nowhere, but doing so very quickly.
Have not written at all for several days. Christmas holidays got in the way. I am trying not to fret over it. The world is not over, though (clearing my throat) I do have a dreaded birthday coming quickly, and there is that minor problem I seem to have of age.
I've been much better lately about not spasing over what I don't get done. It is taking a great deal of patience... of course I hate that, but I suppose it is God's way of showing me humility. Or something like that.
Started a wonderful book... Making A Literary Life - Advise for Writers and Other Dreamers"by Carolyn See. By wonderful, I suppose I should say that in the first couple chapters that I have read it has provided refreshing ideas. It reads very smoothly and I don't think it should take me long to complete it.
